The September 31 day nail art challenge 2014 #1

Just a collection of the the nails I have done on the first third of the challenge - you can follow it daily on Instagram!

What, every day? FOR A MONTH?? Oh dear, what have I done!

Elevation Polish Fall-ow me up North stamped with MJ jr plate and Mundo de Unas.  I'm really digging the tone on tone stamping these days, I love the simple and clean look of it.

This is the gorgeously bright Balneario from Palish, stamped with MdU white and then a thin layer of Balneario on top, to create a sandwiched effect.

This is Pipe Dream Polish Light of Day, stamped with MdU white and an Apipila plate.  These neons from Pipe Dream are seriously great, I'm gonna rely on them to get me and my nails through the dark winter. I already miss summer!

I made a gradient of High Roller and Happy Hour from Pipedream Polish, and stamped it with MoYou and Mundo de Unas. I had SO many compliments on this mani, I didn't want to take it off!

For this gradient, I used two of the Pipe Dream Polish Vegas neons and stamped with Mundo de Unas and a MoYou plate. I love these simple stamps that lets you see the base polishes properly through the stamp.

I used Elevation Polish Atop a Ferris Wheel and stamped with Mundo de Unas and MoYou.
This is unusually soft and girly for me, but I really like it.

Black & White
It is no secret that I REALLY like colour. And I tried, I REALLY tried, but somehow a tiny bit of colour sneaked into this mani! I used Elevation Polish Weddell Sea as base,
A England Bridal Veil and then EvP La Harpe jumped in unexpectedly.

MetallicElevation Pilish Vinson, a very pretty lavender metallic holo, very discreetly stamped with Mundo de Unas and DRK. A bit too discreetly. Let's just pretend I had a Job interview or something and this was totally on purpose. Yeah.

For this mani, I used my OPI sheer tints and then stamped with Mundo de Unas and MoYou . It's like a rainbow honeycomb. If unicorns could make honey, I'm pretty sure it'd look like this.
I used A England Rose Bower and Bridal Veil for this gradient, and stamped using Mundo de Unas and an Apipila plate. I kinda like it, but the black and red and sharp edges really gives it such an 80'es vibe. It basically looks like my brothers teenage bedroom. It didn't make it through the full day on my nails haha!

Water Marble!

These last few days I have caught the water marble bug! I am still not as good as I'd like to be, but I really enjoy it and I can see myself getting better at it, and getting more of a sense of the process.

I've been wanting to try it again for a long time, and when the weekly theme for a polish group I am in was water marble, I jumped at the chance. Here's what I came up with over a few days:

This is Elevation Polish Mt. Ventoux and Antelao.

This es Elevation Mt. Ventoux and Antelao again, now mixed with Ortler. Such a gorgeous pink!

3 Kiko cremes, they were a bit too thick to marble with and gave me a bit of trouble, but I love the ring finger!

OPI Coca-Cola Red and Done Out in Deco, I love the brightness of this red, it's a gorgeously simple classic coca-cola red.

I will definitely be doing more water marble soon!

Foxy Paws Just a Meaningless Kiss

What's this then? A blog post! Shocking, I know. I've been keeping to Instagram mainly recently, but this one just needed more than just the one picture, so here I am!

Just a Meaningless Kiss

Just a Meaningless Kiss is from the Foxy Paws 2014 Valentines collection. It's a soft holographic pink with different sizes of black glitter. It has the usual great Foxy Paws formula, spreads evenly and covers well in 2 coats.

In bright light, the polish shows it's beautiful soft side.

This polish is a great mix of the soft baby pink holo and the hard black glitters, I think they go together really well. The baby pink makes for a girly, Valentine-y polish and then the black glitters adds that bit of edge, so it will also work for hardened un-romantics like yours truly!

Close up
If you want to grab this, you'd better hurry up! Unfortunately Foxy Paws is closing down shop for a while, starting on the 1st of february due to unforeseen illness in the immediate family. Let's all hope that it all get's better soon, so we can have our Foxy Fingertips back!

For now, you can buy it right here: Foxy Paws Just a Meaningless Kiss

This product was sent to me for my honest review
